first MCA spring meeting

So this weekend as most of you probably know was the annual MCA spring meeting in Branson MO. I was able to attend for the first time and glad I did. I will not go into all that was discussed as it will be in the next issue of the Clipper and I'm more than positive on the website. Anyway before the general membership meeting Saturday afternoon, I went to the Auto and Farm Museum that was just up the road from the hotel that I was staying. I'm not much of a car guy, but they were still cool and of course I enjoyed the tractor displays ( and farm truck) on the other side of the museum. They had pretty much almost all makes of tractors there. There were 4 MH on display and they were: 44-6, 44, 101 Junior and a 30. I couldn't get any pictures of the 30 as my camera on my phone wouldn't cooperate for some reason...gremlins I guess.  Anyway on the 44 I found something that was interesting to me. There was a crankhandle mounted on the left hand side of the frame forward of the bell housing. Did Massey Harris send one with each tractor when it left the factory? Just curious as I don't recall seeing it on any other Massey Harris'.   One more thing I found interesting about this museum was just about everything in there was for sale. Some of it overpriced if you ask me, which also tells me they aren't in any hurry to sell. Enjoy the pictures everybody.
