Reuhlz this is for you my friend...

I follow the American Truck Historical Society (ATHS) facebook page as they usually have some neat stuff on there. Anyway, someone just posted on there an auction for Skip Mckean, for those who don't know who that is, he is a owner of a trucking company that hauls propane, fuel oil to heat homes etc. in New Hamphsire. This feller has decided its time to sell his collection of super nice vintage Mack trucks and (the whole reason Im posting this) a SUPER sharp LP Massey 44. Thought everyone would enjoy the pics.

Cheers!

Hey Dakota,

Sorry for the very slow response. New website format, and a bunch of other things as excuses no one cares about.

I saw that McKean fleet is going up for sale.  It is such an awesome collection of most of the popular styles of Macks made.  He was a frequent exhibitor at some of the shows on the east coast.  They are some very nice trucks.  His auction post was the first I knew of his Massey 44 LP.   Be curious to know what they all sell for.

Thanks for the shout out.

Reuhlz,

Its all good chief, no need to explain.
I too am curious to see what his collection sells for, although I must admit its a shame to see it broken up, but can understand why he did what he did.

I'd be willing to bet that the 44LP will bring a good chunk of change on its own. I don't think your dad has a LP tractor in his collection yet, maybe an early Fathers Day present??

Cheers,
