What is everyones best guess as to what year my Wallis 12-20 is? Tractor serial number is104800. Engine serial number is 104329 with 5032 stamped below serial number. The casting date on side of engine is 12-16-29 but serial number seems too high to be a 1929.

         If you subtract the engine serial No. from the tractor No.you come up with the magic number 471 which is correct and means that you have the original engine. The casting No. on the engine doesn't mean that it was fitted in the chassis in '29 particularly as it was cast in December of that year
