For those who may not know, especially for our friends across the pond, the Half Century of Progress show is this week and here is a couple cool pics I shot today. More to follow but the rest are on my camera and will upload either Sunday or Monday. Any members who may be at the show please feel free to add your own pics.

Now for the craziness.  These were taken on Thursday. The crowds will be over the top on Saturday!  You will see 30+ corn pickers making their rounds if you can see thru the gators and golf carts.  To say the least it is a spectacle!  As the pickers were moving thru the field tractors and plows were queued ready to follow them to turn the soil.

Some of Indiana's finest were on display as well!

This has to be the largest working show in the world. There are tractors, implements and carts everywhere!! I can remember when there were 5 or 6 corn pickers in the field.  Today there were 10 times that many. They are limited it one pass at a time.  Not one round - one simple pass.  

I was somewhat surprised to see Dakota's pictures of the Winterroth combine cutting beans.  Beans were quite green on Thursday. Discussins werr to disk them down and to start plowing.  Glad they could at least attempt to cut them.

If you have never been to the Half Century of Progess you need to put it on your bucket list. It onl comes around every other year. Weather is to be beautiful the rest of the wekends so make the trip!  You will not be dispinted.

Yes I too was surprised they cut beans. I thought I heard someone say the Winterroth combine had some issue after they cut beans, but cant confirm that. I know this isnt Massey related, but hope everyone enjoys anyway. Got some great shots of this 1460 today. As Gary mentioned, it does get nuts at times with all the golf carts, but still fun and you can still get some great pics.

And, last shot, a visitor from North Carolina that stopped by the MCA tent with his parents.  His name:  Massey!  His dad wanted his middle name to be Ferguson, but mom nixed that idea.   :-)

No idea why the 178 and young Massey's photos are sideways.  They are correct orientation as stored on my laptop.  Never had that happen before when downloading from the laptop...   Grrrr.....

Well here's some more pics from the show. Ended up taking 833 pictures during the 3 days we were there, enjoy!
