RE:33 Diesel/Kerosene registry

Hey Dakota              Have you got more 33D's registered in So. Dak than ours?  We sold  a 33D1SF to a guy in northern So Dak quite a number of years ago.  I would suspect he still has it, but I don't know how he feels about publicity. Let me know if you have it, if not I will contact him for you.

RE:33 Diesel/Kerosene registry

Hello Steve,

As of right now the only one I know of in SD is yours. If you could get in touch with him that would be great and if he prefers to email me himself, I would be okay with that.  Hope all is well up your way!

RE:33 Diesel/Kerosene registry

Hello Dakota, I have been having website problems joining in the discussion portfolios.
Anyway I will try again and forward you my information on my 2 33s.
MH 33DIRF 7924P rowcrop, got from Gary Larson (deceased) IA.
MH 33DISF 7610P wide front, fitted with hydraulics and 3 point linkage. I am told there were very few (125) of these tractors with hydraulics manufactured. How true ? ?    Got the tractor in Alberta Canada.
Hope this one transmits.
Regards
Jim

RE:33 Diesel/Kerosene registry

Hi Jim,

No biggie and I will add them to my list! As for the number built with hydraulics, I think there were more built with hydraulics as my 33D has hydraulics. But regarding the 3pt linkage, I could believe that number. Maybe someone else on here has more information on that.

Cheers,
       Dakota

RE:33 Diesel/Kerosene registry

Hello Dakota
The tractor I have is 33D1RF 9751P.  I believe that would make it a 1954 model.  I purchased it from Jay Holt in North Carolina.  It hadn't run in several years but the engine was free.  Jay sent me some photos and we came to an agreement for purchase over the phone.  I went to fetch it and brought it home to south central Florida.  After about two years and a tidy sum I got it looking good enough to take to Florida Flywheelers.  I also have a 333D and they make a nice display side by side.  I grew up on a farm in McLean County, Kentucky and we also had both of these models.  That was my attraction.

RE:33 Diesel/Kerosene registry

Hello Glenn,

Good lookin 33D you have there! Would love to see your 333D just for the simple fact I have never seen one. Have seen plenty of the 333 gas burners and a few LPs, but never a diesel. I didnt grow up on a farm, but have lived in a rural area all my life and just have always liked tractors. Appreciate ya sending me your serial number!

Cheers,

RE:33 Diesel/Kerosene registry

Hello Dakota
Here's the 333D I presently own.  I bought it from George White of Winslow IL in 2011.  Prior to that, it was owned by Jill Brooks of Old Mill Creek, IL.  Those two white filters you see are NAPA fuel filters on a housing from some other type of vehicle.  The original MH configuration had 3 filters, all a little different.  It was like this when I purchased it from George.  I'd also like to know how many of these were built but haven't seen any production numbers for it.

RE:33 Diesel/Kerosene registry

Hello Glenn,

Very sharp tractor! I noticed the filters and didnt think those were right. I'm sure you already know this, but on those 201 diesels, the two filters on the outside were your primary and secondary stage filters and the one on the back of the block was your final stage filter. Had to replace the final stage filter only 33D because it had a pin hole in it, which is why I also thought it didnt run right cause it was suckin air.

As for the production numbers of the 333D, I dont know either and have wondered that myself. I'm sure someone else on here would know.
