RE:Cast Iron M-H Memorabilia

Not cast iron but very rare pieces of memorabilia for the Ferguson enthusiast found in the museum in Holland, I have never come across these Ferguson oil drums before.

RE:Cast Iron M-H Memorabilia

Another nice aquisition from a sale yesterday were these 4 items of cast iron memorabilia. I was fortunate in that they came as one lot at a very, very agreeable price!

I already had the SAM rake foot plate but it had been substantially repaired

Dickie you will recall was a Scottish company for which Massey Harris for a few years marketed all their products. I thought I had the V rake one but luckily the one that I have is different.  This one has the patent numbers but the one I have shows Patent Pending.

Lucky days!!

RE:Cast Iron M-H Memorabilia

I have finally got round to painting the lettering on the two Sawyer Massey steam engine front smoke box doors I have picked up in Canada over the years.

I understand there are five different variations of the S-M front door, so got to keep looking for three more yet.

Very nice Malcolm. It must be raining again in Lincolnshire today. It has poured with rain all day here in Norfolk. Alan
