Happy Turkey Day!

Hope everyone is staying safe and not over eating on this very unusual Thanksgiving Day.
Feel free to jump on here and let us know what you've been up to or how you spent your Turkey Day. It's been a while since I've heard from anyone....
Hope all is well,
Joe

RE:Happy Turkey Day!

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!

Quiet day here.  Just Marlene and I.  We will have Thanksgiving Dinnner on Saturday with Brian, Stephanie, and grandson Sawyer.  Nobody else coming to visit this year.

We finished harvest last Thursday.  There is about 400 acres of deep ripping to do with my name on it.  Closest thing I get to "tillage" with this no-till operation.  I find it therapeutic.  Got 80 acres of that done last Friday, then it rained 1.5 inches over the weekend, and another inch of rain yesterday.  Won't be back at that for several days.  After the ripping is done I plan to be mostly "retired" again through March. :-)

Only 35 days left of 2020, the year that was...   Unfortunately, it doesn't look like 2021 is going to start out any better...  Ugh...   We'll just have to make the best of it.

Cheers,

JB

RE:Happy Turkey Day!

Hi all,

Quiet day here too in southern Indiana. Finished the last spreading job little over a week ago, now getting into being in the shop until late March or early April. I too think 2021 is not going to be any better as far as shows, but I think I'll be able to make a few excuses to get the tractors out. Waiting on a couple parts and will begin to rewire the 33D. Got the radiator recored and got her all cleaned up.

Hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving.

Greetings MCA Friends

Greetings from the Covid 19 capital of the country and maybe the world.

It was a quiet turkey day here in SD as well. Just my better half and I.  Our kids, grandkids, and great grandkids are coming Sat for turkey, dressing, SOUR KRAUT an apple pie.  It just does not get any better than that.  I got my request from Cade ( soon to be 7)  gramps could you be sure the 25 runs so we can go tractor driving.  Great to see such interest at such a young age.  Hope it continues.

Spent a couple days in the shop helping Chris with pulling tractors as they leave Tuesday morning for a pull at Tunica Mississippi. Quite a good hike down there, 1200 miles as he heads through Neb picks up a friend and his 2 tractors and heads SE.  Hopefully it will be worth it.

Like everyone else of hearing about Covid 19, do we need a mask mandate or not, mud slinging name calling politics, and votor fraud.  Hopefully 2021 will be better.

Hope everyone had or will have a blessed day with family and friends.  Stay safe and optomistic.
