For Sale: 1961 Massey Ferguson 50

I purchased this tractor as an investment for my FFA project of trading antique tractors. I purchased this back in October at a Consignment Auction here in Missouri. The tractor ran rough and had no power. I purchased the tractor and brought it home to work on. I rebuild the firing system with new plugs, wires, distrubutor cap, points, condenser, and coil. That didn't solve the problem. Then I removed the valve cover, which was a great experience, with having to remove the sheet metal, grill, and fuel tank. After working on the Oliver's I was raised on this was a lot harder just to get to the valves. But after destroying the tractor I discovered one valve was loose and one was tight. So I reset all the valves. It ran better but still not right. I then happened to look at the distributor and notice the plug wires were in the wrong order! I guess somebody switched them at the auction. But the tractor now runs great and is so much fun to drive. It is equipped with a 3-point and third arm, 540 PTO, lights, spin out wheels, and 3 speed hi-low transmission and Power Steering. I added a brand new drawbar as the old was was gone. It is powered by a Continental Z134 and has 1224 hours on a working tach, Tires are around 75%. S/N: 528571. I am finished with the tractor and need to move it to purchase parts for other projects (Oliver 77 and Massey Harris Pony I am restoring). I am asking $2750 for it.  Please give me a call at 5seven3-259-33six8 or shoot me an email at wbridgeman11@gmail.com. I can send more pictures.
