Well finally got my starter on my 33 diesel back and got it put back on today. Turns out that nothing was wrong with it parts wise, just had a lot of dirt/oil and other junk in it so it wasn't making good contact. Had the feller that went through it for me also make a cover for it to keep said dirt/oil/etc.etc. out of it. Hooked all connections back up, hit the starter button and low and behold she popped right off. So needless to say I am quite pleased.
