RE:The First 175th Anniversary Massey Show for 2022 in The World.

Nicely done, Malcolm!   Thanks for sharing everything.

Looks like the weather is holding out for you quite well.

Massey Days Summer Reunion is next weekend, and will be the first Massey Show over here for most of us in this 175th celebration year.  Looking forward to that.

Cheers,

JB

Well done Malcolm! Since I can't be there in person to partake in the festivities, I will offer a picture of my newly purchased 44 Special to be "e-displayed". Cheers.

RE:The First 175th Anniversary Massey Show for 2022 in The World.

Hi Malcolm (and all)!!

Sorry for my delay weighing in on the set-up of your 175th Anniversary celebration and show.  Thanks for sharing all the pics and activities planned for the weekend. I particularly like the long narrow banner of the various logos and labels used over the years. Excellent!!

You are to be commended for your passion to make this show a huge success.  All the hauling trips all a challenge but bringing everything home is much bigger.

Jack – Sorry to hear about Judy. Give her a big hug from Ony and I.  Hope she is on the way to 100% improved.  Thoughts and prayers are with her and you. Sorry you missed the show.

Looks to be a grand event.  Congratulations again on making the “first show in the world“ the best one (so far!)  I do love the potato pieces!

Great job!

Now to read the rest of the story from John!!

RE:The First 175th Anniversary Massey Show for 2022 in The World.

Thank you for your comments Gary,

It was a great pleasure in putting this event together to fly the "Massey 175th Anniversary Flag" here in the UK. Plus I had some very good helpers to assist me with this huge task.
I am just returning back to some sort of normality this morning and will post more photo's later as I get through my recovery process.

As you mentioned above the two banners at the show which I designed for this special year, and as John said there is going to one in both the Eastern and Western M-H Museums here in the UK. If anyone in the USA or Canada is interested in them I can get more printed and hopefully carry them across to the Expo in Milton, the cost is £150.00 each.

RE:The First 175th Anniversary Massey Show for 2022 in The World.

I must say a very big "Thank You" to my team in helping me bring together this display, keep it running through the event and then getting everything home on Monday when the last load was home by 2.30pm.

Here in the photo we have the Massey 175th team of:-  John Jeffries, Myself and Larry Parker.
John is a Ferguson man at heart and Larry is dare I say it a "Green and Yellow" man, I tried to convert him this weekend and possibly failed!!

Behind the scenes we had their respective wives of Judy Jeffries and Marilyn Parker supplying all the appropriate food and drinks, especially tailored to suit my diet!! thank you ladies.

The last photo is my " 175th Transport Manager" Sam Kirk with his last load of potato equipment and taking home is new M-F steed, which he spent hours cleaning up before bringing it to the show on Thursday.

Malcolm.

Now I see I overloaded the previous post with too many photo's.

Here is the photo of Sam Kirk, my 175th Anniversary Transport Manager and his latest M-F 7718 S tractor.

RE:The First 175th Anniversary Massey Show for 2022 in The World.

I must say it has been very refreshing working with our enthusiastic local Massey Ferguson dealers, Chandlers of Horncastle Lincolnshire on this 175th event, seen here is the new M-F 8S, 245 tractor loaned for the event. Thank you very much indeed Gavin Pell and Ian Sharpe for bringing this together and supporting our UK Massey 175th Anniversary display at Carrington Rally.

Malcolm.
