At out MCI Spring meeting there was a lot of interest in the Poster listing all of the Massey Harris dealers in the state of Ohio from 1960.  I wlas just wondering where that was found and would there be something like that out there for every state?   My wife Marian and my Brother Herman are going to try and work on a list of dealers for the state of Illinois from memory of the membership.  
If there is anyone with information of a poster for the State of Illinois or a list of dealerships for Massey Harris please  let me know.

Not in the mid west and a little further back in time, but my grandfather had a Massey Harris dealership in Monkton Vermont in the 1930's.  My father came across the GP (pictured) that my grandfather had used on his farm and bought it.  It's now my possession.  He had another GP go through his dealship, but location is unknown.

In the 50's there was a dealer in Lily Lake Il I think they started in the 40's because my dad bought a number 6 mower that I still have in 49 and I have a TO 35 that was bought in 59 The dealer was Carlson Bros. I think they quit in about 61

Hello, I can remember looking through Farming Magazines throughout the 30's, 40's, & 50's, etc and coming upon Massey-Harris advertisements listing Dealers in Iowa. Many of them long gone today.  Not every issue but occasionally. I have used that information on roadtrips chasing down leads.  Many goose chases, but I have found enough to keep going.  Check your local Farming Magazines, you might get lucky. I also checked other brands as well. Great trading stock to get what you might want.  Tim Pace

Got to thinking and there was a dealer in Yorkville it was Homer Dickson and also there was one in Lisbon I think it was Lisbon Implement if I think of more I will post them.

I come across a1955 farm magazine that had the Massey Harris dealers listed for 1955 in Illinois I'm not sure how I could list them all it was very interesting.

Do you have the magazine or the name?  Could you photo copy the pages with the dealer listing?  That would be a big help.
