Trent,
Possibly the wrong forum, but I have a 1020 and have had a couple of other Toyosha engined MF. Parts are difficult, there is a company Southern Global that seems to have some things, I don't have the web address.
I would say you are on the right track, and also all of the older Japanese built tractors are difficult to get parts for, not that it helps much.
I am not admonishing you, but I caution people with this era of MF compact tractor due to parts availability. For me, I just thought it was a neat addition to my MF collection. I do use it, but I don't at all "need" it, other tractors can fill the spot. My view is that if someone needs a reliable tractor in that size, a MF/Ferguson 35 is a better choice, likely for less $$.
Good luck finding what you need, when they are running well, they are really nice tractors.
