I just recived word that John Yoars of The Woodlands, Texas (north of Houston) passed away in April. John has been a member of MCA since 2008!  Mrs. Yoar now has several tractors she would like to sell.  Although most of them are the other red (IH) she does have a Massey Harris 44 that has been repainted.  She is asking $1,900.00 for the tractor. ( I have no pictures)

She also has:
1939 Farmall M, 1940 McCormick W-4, 1939 Farmall H (in a local museum),1939 Farmall A,  
1941 Farmall H, 1952 Super M, 1953 Farmall Super C, 1953 McCormick SWD-6, 2 - 1954 Farmall SMTA (LP)    All of these have been restored!

By chance do you know if it is a standard by chance?

Sorry about my delay everyone but I am working on getting more information and pictures of the 44.  The owner is out of town and will turn on Tuesday.  She will get some pics of the tractor and hopefully a pic of the serial tag, as well.

Sorry for the delay on responding about the Texas MH 44.  It looks to be very nice AND it is located in Kokomo Indiana.

Here is what she shared with me!

"The Massey 44 is a row crop with an adjustable wide front.  Rears can be adjusted also.  Due to the location of the serial number we can not get a good picture of it  Best we an make out is: 3355.  The serial number range for 1948 is 1871 through 4527  The casting codes also indicate it is a 1948.

This could be a good buy for someone! She wants it out and gone. She has not said a price but it could be yours before you know it!.
