I am not really up on my info on the Massey mowers but I ran across a Massey 14 with a very different body style than I am used to seeing. It has a much newer style grill than what you usually see, could this have been right in the change over? Could this possibly be the 3rd one made like this or the 300th one made like this? It reads Model MF 14 Serial Number 1944000300.

Think I've seen one other like that on a Facebook group recently, do you have anymore photos of maybe some key features showing how it might be Massey made opposed to homemade?

Sorry, these two pictures are the only pics I took of it. It was deffinatly made by Massey in my opinion as it looked just like most Massey mowers I've seen, just the front grill was very different than any I've ever seen before.
