Whiz-N-Day 2025

The days are counting down, been working on sleds daily it is not to late for you to do the same. Some start right off, others not so much. I had to remove a mouse nest from one I got at the Fred Chubrillo auction but it runs fine now.
Hope to see you all February 15th.

RE:Whiz-N-Day 2025

Working on  a ltttle Chinook today. No spark on the left cylinder so pulled it apart to file points. This can be done sneeking through the flywheel. There are two sets of points, top set is for the left cylinder and bottom set for the right cylinder. Works best to use folded 400 grit sandpaper then fold a dollar bill several times to give it the final buffing. This seems to work the best, I supose a 100 dollar bill would work better as they are usually stiffer. Got her to run pretty good but is still getting just a little too much fuel. Supose I will have to take the carb apart and investagate.

About 4 inches of snow now!
We ordered 12 inches from Canada but I think Trump's Tariffs got in the way of it.

RE:Whiz-N-Day 2025

Joe and Jo-Jo,

Thanks for putting your Whiz-n-Day in the gallery.  From what I see from across the water you had a very succesful and well attended event with some superb stands in your "village hall".  The food looked great too!  I was allso impressed to see so many younger and very young folks there.  Normally when we look at photos of Massey events we see lots of more mature types!!.  Whilst you said that  this would be your last whizzing event maybe you will reconsider??!!  I hear that 100 sweatshirts for the event were sold - amazing!

So well done to youboth and all your assistants

John
