Massey 1035 engine issues Toyosha 31 hp

Hello Everyone, just joined for some help.  I bought a lemon, it’s been one thing after another 4wd,hydraulics,clutch, oil and water leaks so you can say I am learning my tractor.  Latest issue has been hard starting but once it started ran fine.  I bled fuel system and found one injector seemed more of an culprit than the rest.  Needed the tractor so ran it this way for a month believeing it was a slow pressure leak.  Was doing some work, shut her down then it wouldn’t start.
Diesel mechanic says she's not getting fuel so we send off injector pump and injectors to be professionally rebuilt, buy manuals, he assembles only to have same results.  Get it towed to his shop for further investigation.  Compression test reveals two cylinders are bad.  Air test reveals one  cylinder leaks through the rings and another through the exhaust.. He is suggesting an engine rebuild kit which I am having a hard time finding because it's a Toyosha.
    My questions are:
1.  Are we on the right track?
2.  Are there other trouble shooting tactics to narrow anything down?  Possibly rings and a valve job or just get it over with?

3.  Where do you knowledgeable people source OEM parts?  I've had some luck but one company doesn't give any part numbers and another only partially matches.  Is that ok?
4.   Is there a part number for an engine rebuild kit?  A couple companies want a part number.
5.   Does Massey sell a special Kleenex box that absorbs my blood and tears in a way that takes away some pain or makes me feel better ?
Any guidance is much appreciated.  Look forward to any advice and or response.
Thank you,
       Trent
