Joe if you are reading this, I will say for me I like this new site, but if for some reason we end up going back to the old site, I'm fine with that too.

well I guess Jack and I are in the same boat!  No luck posting a pic from my pics on the phone!  Beats  me for today!!

I don't see what the problem is with this new website. 

My phone is an Android. I can get my photos out of my store. It would be easier I agree if I could get them directly from Gallery.

I agree the symbols are a bit of a distraction so perhaps something can be done about that in the future. 

After all that I expect I won't be able to post a photo but here goes.

Wow, nothing like a new design to spark a healthy discussion.  This is great and we totally appreciate all the feedback!!

I have borrowed Joe's discussion page for a moment to try to understand all that is of concern.  Like some others that have been posting, we, don't have the i phone or the i pad or a laptop for that matter.  We have a "hand cranked" desktop that is basically updated with the windows and office package but like others did not see anything wrong with the old website EXCEPT that when folks with the newer technologies tried to post or we tried to post things they sent us from their newer technologies.  Then everything went haywire!  So even though it feels like we should not fix what is not broken, it was indeed somewhat broken and desperately needed an update thus the new design.

Please realize sometimes we do not see all the issues in the development site that you have mentioned. But, once it has gone live and all the different users using various types of technologies from numerous locations give it a try for real then these come to the forefront.  And beleive me when I say that it is great to hear your likes and dislikes so we can respond. We have been in a number of discussions with the web designer to atttempt to respond to your concerns.  Some say the front page is too cluttered.  Some say there is too much white throughout the pages.  Some say the font is too light and some say there is too much space.  They are not interested in scrolling, scrolling, scrolling to get to their information.  We are looking into all this.In addition there seems to be some garble when posting and that too is being addressed or at least hope it already has been addressed.

This site was to be more mobile friendly, more user friendly, easier to use so anyone could post from any device from any where at any time.  There seems to be a problem with posting from various devices especially when  posting pics.  For some, it is ok but for others, not so much!! We are looking into this for sure!!!   Trying to troubleshoot.

Thanks for your update. 
I must be one of the lucky ones as this new website works 100% better for me than the old one. I have an Android phone. It seems some people with iPhones are having more problems. 

If you look at the posts that I did with photos of Christmas Cards they came onto the old website every which way up although they were sent the correct way up. Also there were no paragraphs in the post although they were sent with paragraphs. 

I agree there is a lot of space between subjects but it just means a bit more scrolling. I am sure it is something we will get use to. I think someone mentioned that the total number of posts that each person had made weren't there but it just takes a bit more scrolling and they are there.

I know change can be difficult but thank you Joe and Jo Jo for all your time and effort.

Looking better!!  I noticed the change early this morning. 

i will see if the pic posting challenge is still there. If you see it, you will know!

Jo-Jo Im sure youve seen my earlier post, but I was just saying I am cool with whatever you guys need to do. Like Alan, I like the new site and haven't had any issues that others are having. While yes I believe you shouldn't fix things that aren't broken, but this new site is an improvement. Sorry for any confusion.
