RE:Massey clothing

Im guessing with it saying Twin Power on the back, must be a reference to the 101? Didn't some of the Challenger's say Twin Power on them too? Interesting piece!

Cheers,

Dakota,

Twin Power was fitted to 101s, 201s, 202s and 203s and the red Challengers and Pacemakers.

This rather smart shirt was aquired for me by my sister on holiday in New Zealand a year or two back..

RE:Massey clothing

John posted earlier some Massey ties.  I am surprised no one has posted this old Massey Harris tie.  I say old, but I believe this tie has never been worn. It still has the cardboard stiffener within the tie.

Wonder where they all went?

Gary

Sorry for the side pic. Just pick up your monitor and turn it 90 degrees!!

RE:Massey clothing

Here is another fun piece.  I picked this up at an auction several years ago.  It is a genuine leather vest that was worn by Massey staff at an introduction show at the Minneapolis Branch of Massey Ferguson.  Extremely nice item.  My granddaughter is the model when she was much younger!!

RE:Massey clothing

Here is another vest that is rarely seen in the US! It is a safety vest used by the Ferguson Club in the U.K.  I believe it was used at the same show that featured one of my tractors while it was in the UK.  Special thanks to a good friend for providing this vest to me!

The model is the same granddaughter but a little older.

RE:Massey clothing

I remember seeing the tie and the leather vest when I was up there last, but dont remember the Ferguson safety vest, very cool. Maybe the MCA can do something like that in the near future.

RE:Massey clothing

Smart red jackets such as this were worn by MF staff over here at shows, demonstrations and  by the guides who took visitors on factory and museum trips at the Banner Lane factory.  When you saw a goup of such people at a show they were very impressive in their "uniform" - the "red devils"!

Here are four examples of ladies head scarves issued for the Ferguson 50th anniversary in the UK.  They are made of quite fine and delicate material

RE:Massey clothing

I am not sure what this type of hat is called.  It's not a modern day safety hat.  The nearest thing I can liken it to are the pith helmets that used to be worn in tropical climates.  Perhaps someone can enlighten us.  Anyway the first of its type today is a Massey Ferguson version.
