Trying to change the air filter on my new to me '49 Pony. The oil cup was filthy with all sorts of gunk and sludge in the bottom. Apparently it hadn't been serviced in years. But I'm having trouble getting the wire mesh filter out. It seems thoroughly stuck and I've only been able to pull out pieces of it with effort. Any easier method to do this?
