Looking for MF 40 Industrial Tractor Serial Number information

Hey folks,

I am trying to help a guy out that inherited an MF 40 Industrial Tractor with MF 200 Loader.  The tractor serial number is 9A 79088.  What year was it built??  I have struck out so far looking around the internet.  Tractordata.com doesn't have any serial number list for the MF 40.

My book says it was built in 1969!
