Thanks Jo-Jo

A while back we had a series of posts acknowledging how various folk had made significant contributions to the Massey movement.  It occured to me that no-one had made mention of our President Jo-Jo Poncelet.  Yet she surely does merit high praise for here endeavours since she assumed  this role some two or so years ago.

Great credit must be given to her for taking a great leap of faith into a man's world and not only surviving the experience but making a great job of the position.  She came in at a time when the Clipper magazine was at a low ebb and has succesfuly got that on to a higher plane with significant innovations such as the children's section  which will hopefuly help to draw much needed younger members into this rapidly ageing movement.  Certainly our grand kids enjoy it.

Jo-Jo's outgoing personality mixed with her stiff, sometimes stern, resolve is her strength and long may we all benefit from it.  Many thanks to you J-J for services rendered so far and long may you continue to bring MCA further up in the tractror world.

RE:Thanks Jo-Jo

Very well said John,

As a member of MCA for many years now I must say it is encouraging for the longevity of the Club to have Jo-jo 'steering the MCA ship' especially through the recent tough times of the pandemic and then her tireless work, efforts, ideas and enthusiasm in Celebrating the 175th Anniversary of Massey during 2022 is something I will always remember.

Also I would like to mention the amount of miles she has covered in attending so many 'Massey Events' all across the USA and Canada shows the dedication and support she has given freely to fellow members and their state events, a true leader whom we should all be grateful for her dedication to Massey, without these trips those members many miles from North America would not have been priveldged to see and enjoy so many Massey Events during the 175th Year.

Thank you Jo-jo for everything you do and long may it continue. Here are a few photo's of the great time we had together in Canada last September, we celebrated the 175th Anniversary in great style with our President of MCA.

Here's to the next Anniversary.
