Massey Harris steel wheel seed drill

Hello there,
New member of MCA. I have gathered a few Massey Harris tractors, a couple of combines and a couple of seed drills. I was hoping someone would be sitting with information on the seed drills. I have two that appear to be indentical except one is green and the other is red. Both grain boxes are galvanized. There are 20 seed tubes with discs. I have attached a couple of pictures to help with identification. I'm hoping to learn the approximate year of production and model number. Well any other interesting info regarding the drills is welcome.

Probably 300 models.  What is the spacing between the disks.  This will tell you the type of drill you have.  Mine are 307 with a 7 inch spacing of the disks.  If you look inside the drill box you may find a spec sheet attached to the lid with lbs per acre.

Thank you, I'll check that. Wow didn't realize there was that many models lol.

I may have a manual for that model let me look and I can send it to you.

That would be amazing. I got the drill freed up and both gearboxes are engaging as well as disengaging. Will be working on the discs next.

As far as model numbers I believe it was the same drill just spacing of shoes that was different.  Were you able to see a seed panel  on the inside of the seed box lids?   that is a big thing if you are going to try an use the drill for actual planting.
