Not cast iron today, but items that I keep with the cast iron memorabilia are these two wooden packing boxes from the old Massey-Harris plant in Trafford Park Manchester right near where I was born.

Note how the consignee had to return the box to Massey-Harris and there was a deposit of £5 on the box whilst in their possesion.

We have seen the M-H stalk cutter foot plate John posted earlier and here is the J I Case Plow Works version, showing they used the same part number 1343.

There are several types of M-H and related company cast iron and steel grain drill ends which are now very collectible and display well,  sometimes we even see them made into flower planters by the enthusiastic gardeners amongst us Massey Collectors.

This is a binder backboard.  It would fit along the back of the table and help keep cut grain stems straight and from overflowing across the back of the moving canvas.  Not cast iron but tin.  There were various designs of these, and of course various widths to suit different binder models.  Sadly many got discarded and laid to one side during the working life of the binder.

Some of the old chain drive wheels from MH implements make attractive displays.  Here are three which I believe are from MH reapers but I am open to debate on that. Or maybe binders??

This is a very bold MH  cast iron item.  I beleive that it is one of two stands on which a Massey Harris mill sat

Patterson and Wisner came together in 1891, and then in the same year Massey-Harris took them over.   Wisners specialised in  seeding and tillage equipment.  Maybe this wheel hub is from one of their seed drills?  And what would be the correct Wisner colour for it - anyone know?

Alan - I'm stepping on your toes here a bit but here is a board full of spanners.  Spanner collecting is quite a big hobby over here but I know it's even more intense over the water.
So who has got the big MH spanner collections over there?
