Well Joe, you have contributed exceptionally well from your photo archives to this 175th Anniversary Memories thread in recent weeks. I hope it's brought back a lot of
happy memories for many collectors around the world and remembered those no longer with us.

Happy Christmas Day to all Massey Collectors.

Now it's time to head out to the shed and have my 'Christmas Start Up' this year it is going to be the styled red 25-40, which was my dads favourite tractor in my collection.

Have a great and memorable day.

Malcolm

Malcolm and all, I'm glad you enjoyed the memory pictures. Negative 8 degrees here with about 2 feet of snow and I am heading out for a Christmas party so don't think I will have time for a start up today.

Merry Christmas to All!

Well it's "Boxing Day" here today - the day after Xmas day and always a Bank Hoiday here.  We were away at our daughter's yesterday so Xmas start  up delayed till today.  It was to have been my MH 55 Riceland diesel.  I had the bateries on charge for a day but to put it bluntly they are now gone beyond.  They would not turn it anywhere near fast enough and it is only just above freezing here.  Lots of fresh snow on the mountains at the back last night.  The batteries - 2 large 6Vs were on it 9 years ago when I bought it from a chap in Connecticut and as we all know if batteries don't whizz a diesel over real fast there is no hope - they have served their time.  Yet it had started in warmer times about 4 months ago.  The battery on my Land Rover also failed me last week when we had severe frost but a new battery whizzed it over and no problem.  Then to add insult to injury the cab heater unit gave up.  One has to keep investing!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, 2022 has come and gone so hooked up with a couple of the MN Massey folks to raise our glasses for a cheer and a final toast to 175 years of Massey. This is the very table that alot of the crazy Massey ideas are born. We have come up with some doozys over the years but not all have materialized. Once the good food was consumed the wheels in our heads were spinning once again. Alot of great new ideas, now lets see how 2023 plays out. Looking forward to a great Massey year.
