744PD seen in England

Hello
I hadn't realised that I could still post on this Website but thank you very much for letting me do so.
Here are a couple of photos of two 744 PD that I saw at a Ploughing match here in England a month or so ago together with a M-H stationary engine. We don't see many M-H stationary engines at Shows over here.

RE:744PD seen in England

Good to see you back on here Alan after a long break.

It was a great shame you didn't make Carrington Rally this year, I did a small feature for the 100th Anniversary of the Type 2 M-H engine. Eight of mine went from my engine shed and the display in the tent created a lot of interest amongst visitors and engine owners.

Looking forward to seeing your 744 photos.

Malcolm.

That is a nice collection of engines.  Do you take them to a lot of shows?

RE:744PD seen in England

Hello G-Town,
Thank you for your reply, this recent 100th Anniversary of The Type 2 M-H engine was just a 'one off ' for me, of the twelve M-H engines in the shed eight made it out to the show and the first time any had been out in the last ten plus years.
These show features do create a lot of work, BUT its a great opportunity to get things out, cleaned up and re-freshed.
Also at these "one off special events" you never know what else may turn up. I certainly had my eyes opened by another local collector at our show in May, I will write more on that later.
